Preparation
- First, start by cooking the lentils and carrots in a large pot of salted water for about 20 to 25 minutes.
- Drain in a colander for at least 30 minutes so that there is no more water
- On the other hand, mince the onion and garlic, then sauté them in the jadida oil for a few moments and set aside.
- Pour the drained lentils and carrots and the crushed well into a bowl.
- Then add the golden onion and garlic, spices, maizena and parsley
- Mix everything well and salt if necessary then cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Then shape balls the size of a small tangerine
- Heat a pan with a little jadida oil
- Flatten each ball as you go and cook them for a few minutes on each side
- Let cool and enjoy your meal
