VEGETARIAN STEAK

Jadida offers you a super healthy vegetarian steak recipe

Ingredients

  • 350 gr of lentils
  • 2 or 3 carrots
  • 1 onion
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 teaspoon of turmeric
  • 1 / 2tsp sweet paprika
  • 1/2 bunch of flat-leaf parsley
  • 4 rounded tbsp of maizéna
  • Jadida oil

Preparation

  1. First, start by cooking the lentils and carrots in a large pot of salted water for about 20 to 25 minutes.
  2. Drain in a colander for at least 30 minutes so that there is no more water
  3. On the other hand, mince the onion and garlic, then sauté them in the jadida oil for a few moments and set aside.
  4. Pour the drained lentils and carrots and the crushed well into a bowl.
  5. Then add the golden onion and garlic, spices, maizena and parsley
  6. Mix everything well and salt if necessary then cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  7. Then shape balls the size of a small tangerine
  8. Heat a pan with a little jadida oil
  9. Flatten each ball as you go and cook them for a few minutes on each side
  10. Let cool and enjoy your meal
